Anthony Dobson
Born in 1971 Anthony Dobson’s interest in art meant evenings spent drawing rather than doing homework, a rebellion that paid off when his first painting sold in 1989 leading to a spate of commissions.
As well as painting commissions, Anthony has worked on the business side of the art world as a framer, printer and publisher – working commercially with artists and building up portfolios.
Working primarily in oils, Anthony has created a stunning and characterful collection of wildlife themed original paintings and limited edition prints on canvas.
Naturally drawn to depicting both animals and people, Shropshire based Bev Davies’ style is free and distinctive, capturing the feelings and emotions of her subject. She uses a limited palette of earthy natural hues, and a combination of watercolour with Pen and Ink, to create her expressive and characterful compositions.
